Subject: RE: [dita] MachineryTask Domain
It was me who asked. In general I think making the domain more general is a good idea. If that isn't done and someone wants something similar in another topic type, they will be forced to create a new parallel domain. And that is something to be avoided. But having said the above, my concern and my question during yesterday's call was based on a misunderstanding on my part which was straightened out. The name Machinery Task Domain suggested to me that the domain was only available for use with a Machinery Task. I was comfortable once I learned that the domain was available for use with any task. -Jeff > -----Original Message----- > From: SeicoDyne DITA [mailto:dita@seicodyne.ch] > Sent: Tuesday, March 04, 2008 5:45 PM > To: dita@lists.oasis-open.org; dita-machine-industry@lists.oasis-open.org > Subject: [dita] MachineryTask Domain > > Hi folks, > > Today during the TC meeting, someone (sorry, I do not recall who mentioned > that) asked why the MachineryTask Domain is suitalbe for the task topic > only > and not for others.
