Subject: RE: [dita] DITA 1.2 Review: Conformance section should have listed key words in quotes

Hi, Doug.

The TC discussed this item today and agreed with your comment; I've updated the source files for the conformance topic. Thanks for reading and commenting on the spec!

Best regards,
Kris

Subject: [dita] DITA 1.2 Review: Conformance section should have listed key words in quotes

In Section 4, Conformance, "keywords" should be replaced with "key
words" to be consistent with RFC 2119 terminology, and to avoid
confusion with DITA keywords (i.e. contents of keyword elements in
metadata).

In the Section 4, Conformance, the key words should be in quotes, and
"words" should be replaced with "key words". That is:

The words must, must not, required, shall, shall not, should, should
not, recommended, may, and optional in the
DITA Specification...

should be

The key words "must", "must not", "required", "shall", "shall not",
"should", "should not", "recommended", "may", and "optional" in the
DITA Specification...
