Thanks to Robin Cover and Robert Anderson, a ZIP of the DITA 1.2 spec in XHTML format can be downloaded from OASIS: http://docs.oasis-open.org/dita/v1.2/os/DITA1.2-spec-xhtml.zip
The XHTML files are optimized for local use; the “Return to the main page” link at the bottom of each topic goes to the local copy of the main page, rather than the official OASIS page at http://docs.oasis-open.org/dita/v1.2/spec/DITA1.2-spec.html .
Hopefully we can add this ZIP to the official page when we publish the DITA 1.2 errata; until then, a link on the TC’s public page will need to suffice.
