Wow. Me, too. BGS with concentrations in CS, Philosophy, and English. I also co-founded and ran a theater troupe for a while (which is still going strong, happy to say).

Folks, recently someone commented that DITA (and XML in general) is not
useful for technical authors because it is developed by mathematicians
and computer scientists.

That made me wonder about the education background of voting members of
the TC. As far as I know, quite a few of us have background in the
humanities:

Day: English and Journalism
Doherty: English

Hamilton
Harrison

Hudson
Kimber
Magliery
