Orientation for new OASIS members who join the TC

I'd like the TC to consider having a designated person from the voting membership who would reach out to new members of the DITA TC and do an orientation.

I used to do this (but no longer have the time). it usually took about 30 minute and would involve the following:

• Conversation about why someone joined the TC; What their interests are; what they want to get out of TC membership; any current volunteer needs that we have that they might meet
• Explanation of our weekly calls and the subcommittees
• Information about our Wiki, SVN, Kavi, etc.

I'm sure that we could make this more systematic. And productive for everyone.
