The copy editor in me says, please don't say "most unique":-). How about the following?

"DITA is unique among XML grammars because it supports specialization," ...

Also, what is "semantic granularity"? I think that will go right past the likely audience for this release (it went right past me:-). How about saying something like the following?

"DITA specialization enables practitioners to create new elements from existing elements, making it possible to support an organization's unique information structure, enable more precise semantic search, and provide better guidance for authors. Content created using a DITA specialization remains compliant with the DITA standard, and output processors can understand and process that content. In addition, such content can be easily shared between organizations, increasing interoperability."
