Hi again! I think I've discovered the source of my problems with some Spanish characters (ñ and Ñ). I've commented the Spanish hyphenation file on language.dat and all my character problems got dissapeared. I suppose there is a conflict between jadetex and sphyph.tex. I hope it helps.
