DOCBOOK-APPS: Stylesheets question/suggestion

Hello DocBook users,

I am using the DocBook 4.1 SGML DTD with DSSSL stylesheets 1.59
with great success.

I have to questions, though:

- The print stylesheet outputs a blank page at the end. Is there
  any way to avoid this?

- Too much blank space is generated before itemizedlists; for
  example, the following:

<para>
 text
</para>
<bridgehead renderas=sect2>Hello world</bridgehead>
<itemizedlist>
 <listitem><para>more text</></>
</itemizedlist>

Looks roughly like so:

     text

 Hello world


     more text

I can send a PostScript file (as well as SGML files) that
demonstrate this behavior if others cannot reproduce it.
