Subject: Re: DOCBOOK-APPS: <remark> in red?
/ Deborah Greenberg Lidl <dgl@BSDI.COM> was heard to say: | Have the Modular DocBook (DSSSL) Stylsheets ever displayed <remark> in | red in either print or HTML output? My notes and my recollection | indicate that they did. But no longer. Yes, when <comment> became <remark>, but before I had updated the stylesheets. (Printing tags in red is my convention for dealing with unsupported elements.) | Comments are rendered in italics with a preceding * in the print | stylesheets and as standard paragraphs in HTML. The comment paragraphs have the "comment" class, so you could alter the presentation with a CSS stylesheet. Be seeing you, norm -- Norman Walsh <ndw@nwalsh.com> | Nearly every complex solution to a http://www.oasis-open.org/docbook/ | programming problem that I have Chair, DocBook Technical Committee | looked at carefully has turned out | to be wrong.--Brent Welch
