Even simpler, just define a <title> to the note, as in: <note> <title>Question:</title> <para>blah, blah, blah... </para> </note> Works like a charm. If there *is* a <title>, the "Note:" is replaced by the title text. This works with DSSSL 1.62, openjade 1.3, DocBook 4.1.
