Subject: DOCBOOK-APPS: preprocessing source code to use in DocBook?
Now that I have finally got DocBook to start working for me (I'm so stoked), I'm going to start writing a programmer's manual for a C++ API that uses lots of templates, pointers and references, and thus code samples will contain "<", ">", and "&" characters everywhere. Is there a readily available and simple tool for filtering text files into files where all the metacharacters have been converted into entities? This would save a lot of typing.
