Saxon 7 is an *experimental* implementation of the unfinished *draft* of XSLT 2.0/XPath 2.0, and it's only a partial implementation at that. According to the main Web page, "The latest version is version 7.0. This is an experimental (and incomplete) implementation of the XSLT 2.0 and XPath 2.0 working drafts. Since neither the specifications nor the code are yet stable, this version is suitable only for experimental use." Saxon 6.5.1 is "The currently recommended version of the full Saxon product." -- +-----------------------+------------------------+-------------------+ | Elliotte Rusty Harold | elharo@metalab.unc.edu | Writer/Programmer | +-----------------------+------------------------+-------------------+ | The XML Bible, 2nd Edition (Hungry Minds, 2001) | | http://www.cafeconleche.org/books/bible2/ | | http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN=0764547607/cafeaulaitA/ | +----------------------------------+---------------------------------+ | Read Cafe au Lait for Java News: http://www.cafeaulait.org/ | | Read Cafe con Leche for XML News: http://www.cafeconleche.org/ | +----------------------------------+---------------------------------+
