It's nice the integration of website as well although I haven't tried it 
yet.

Bob Stayton in his response back to me suggested that the following

<public publicId="-//OASIS//DTD DocBook XML V4.1.2//EN"                           [2]
   uri="docbookx.dtd"/>


includes all the entities and components of doc book already. I tried 
this only in the catalog and turned up the verbosity=3 or 4 and when the 
XML catalog is loaded, all the other components where loaded too so 
that's how I'm using it and it seems to work fine.
