I've fought with Daniel about this, and he's right. The XSLT 1.1 draft doesn't actually require that relative filenames be relative to the ultimate destination of the main output document. What I've done is to pass the base filename as a parameter, and use absolute paths everywhere. It's a bit of a pain, but it works. ~Chris -- Christopher R.
