It turns out that the XSLT spec states: "CDATA sections should not be used except for text nodes that the cdata-section-elements attribute explicitly specifies should be output using CDATA sections." ----- Original Message ----- From: "Elliotte Rusty Harold" <elharo@metalab.unc.edu> To: "fyl2xp1" <vnhu38f93@subdimension.com>; "docbook-apps" <docbook-apps@lists.oasis-open.org> Sent: Thursday, July 11, 2002 7:08 PM Subject: Re: DOCBOOK-APPS: Missing CDATA sections > At 4:53 PM +0100 7/11/02, fyl2xp1 wrote: > >Ok, crappy example, but the error still occurs if you wrap it in paras or > >whatever, > >I forgot to validate the example before I posted it that's all, try it with > >para's round, > >on my system it still misses out the CDATA section, in fact I just converted > >a whole > >book and then had to go through re-inserting the CDATA sections which was > >ridiculous... > > > > I just tried this with the latest version of xsltproc on Linux and > the DocBook HTML stylesheets, and it worked fine for me.
