Subject: RE: Page Number Prefixes
For now, prefaces don't have a page-number-prefix, and refentry's use the preceding chapter's number. We don't use parts or references, except as containers for chapters and refentry's, so they have no effect on the page number prefixes. (BTW, for any who may think I've forgotten completely about this, I haven't. I'll be posting the customizations for this on the Wiki later today, I hope.) > -----Original Message----- > From: Norman Walsh [mailto:ndw@nwalsh.com] > Sent: Friday, April 04, 2003 3:08 AM > To: Jeff Beal > Cc: DocBook Mailing List (E-mail) > Subject: Re: Page Number Prefixes > > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > / Jeff Beal <jeff.beal@ansys.com> was heard to say: > | I've (mostly) implemented a customization of the DocBook > stylesheets (for FO > | output) that create page numbers where the numbering > re-starts at each > | chapter and is prefixed by the chapter number.
