To complement Nikolai's complement...
    
    DBMS -> XML -> DB2LaTeX(XSL) -> PDF (pdflatex)

You may want to "embed" LaTeX code using <alt role="tex", and you have 
basically two customization layers 1) xsl 2) sty/cls files.
