Instead it creates all files in the current directory. The javahelp.xsl stylesheet generates HTML chunks, but in the buildfile a single HTML output file is specified. I suggest you use the regular docbook.xsl stylesheet if you do not want chunks. If you want chunks, use chunk.xsl. You can set an output directory with the base.dir parameter. /M
