Hi Derek, Are you using the XSL stylesheets? If so, I'm not able to duplicate that behavior. I copied your example into a document and processed it with the 1.64.1 stylesheets (both fo and html), and I got lowercase alpha letters for all the nested lists. Can you provide more details of your processing environment. Are you using a customization?
