Subject: Re: [docbook-apps] docbook to PDF
The DocBook XSL stylesheets can number lines in a programlisting. You will need to use either Saxon or Xalan as the XSLT processor. See this reference for details: http://www.sagehill.net/docbookxsl/AnnotateListing.html#LineNumbering Bob Stayton Sagehill Enterprises DocBook Consulting bobs@sagehill.net ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pupeno" <pupeno@pupeno.com> To: <docbook-apps@lists.oasis-open.org> Sent: Thursday, June 10, 2004 12:02 AM Subject: [docbook-apps] docbook to PDF -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Maybe this was discused a zillion times but I couldn't find much information in the archives. I'm trying to convert docbooks to PDFs. I tried a lot of different utilities and I only got (Apache's) FOP more or less to work (I'm not happy with the output). Since I'm working on programming books, I'm specially interested in t programlisting linenumbering, any ideas of which processor (docbook to pdf) can do it ? Any idea of other processors that work that I can test ? I managed to get some .tex out of openjade, but it was impossible to convert into a pdf... some for the .fo files I've got from other processors.
