Subject: setting up tab width from a customisation layout
Thank you for your answer Bob,
I could not find a way to set up tab char width to
4 spaces with FOP's configuration file.
I will try to make some customisation in my
customisation layout, that will turn every <tab> into whatever I want, I
was wondering if some one had already the same idea.
Cheers

Actually, there is a "tab character" entry
in the index of my book. 8^)
The tab character is not defined in
XSL-FO. XSL-FO processors are free to decide what to do with it. I
found that FOP outputs 8 spaces, Antenna House XSL Formatter outputs 4 spaces,
and XEP outputs one space for each tab character. You might look in the
FOP doc to see if there is an option for tab character expansion, or you
can switch to XSL Formatter. 8^)
