Subject: <honorific> presentation
One of the optional elements within an <author> element is <honorific>. My first inclination for that was to use it as the person's title, eg, "President", "Chairman", etc. However, the standard XSLT stylesheet is appending a period after it. That implies that it's for "Mr", "Dr", etc., although in those cases I would think the source should have the period, not the stylesheet. Is there a better way to support author titles other than editing the <honorific> template to not create the period? If not, what are the thoughts on not inserting the period and having that go in the source instead of the stylesheet? -- Larry Garfield AIM: LOLG42 larry@garfieldtech.com ICQ: 6817012 "If nature has made any one thing less susceptible than all others of exclusive property, it is the action of the thinking power called an idea, which an individual may exclusively possess as long as he keeps it to himself; but the moment it is divulged, it forces itself into the possession of every one, and the receiver cannot dispossess himself of it." -- Thomas Jefferson
