So like I said, allow for configurability of the writing environment, where a template can restrict users to a narrow range of styles, where menu and toolbar options can likewise be controlled, etc. If you all just accept the notion that office suites cannot evolve to support more semantic ways of authoring, then it's guaranteed they won't.
