Hi Ursula, Actually, you put that template from Example 12.8 in a customization layer. When you process your file with that customization layer, that template has higher import precedence than the template of the same name in titlepage.templates.xsl, which was generated from the spec file. So you don't need to add it to the spec file. It simply supercedes the one in the spec file, which is specified with the element starting with: <t:titlepage t:element="book" t:wrapper="fo:block"> <t:titlepage-content t:side="recto"> Hope that makes it more clear.
