(one file, instead of many) I suppose that you are targeting MS Windows platform, because I don't think that MHTML is well supported on other platforms. You can use HTML Help (.chm) for distribution of HTML files together with graphics as a single files (which is also full-text search ready). Other possibility is to use some postprocessing tool to "compile" HTML and all images into one MHTML file. I suppose that at least IE component can be scripted to invoke Save as... method, but there might be more direct solutions.
