Subject: RE: [docbook-apps] watermark image is affecting page body

Title: Message

Bob,

I found my problem. In this particular template I am overriding the page masters in fo/pagesetup.xsl. I’m doing this because I needed to add <fo:region-body “margin-left” and “margin-right” values (they don’t exist otherwise).  Using draft.mode = yes causes a completely different set of page masters to be called.

Sorry to bother you.

Bob,

Correct, I meant to say draft.mode is set to 'yes'.  I will dig a bit deeper and see if I can give you a better description.

Hi Jerry,

I presume you mean you are setting the stylesheet parameter draft.mode to 'yes', correct?  The draft.watermark.image parameter is for the path to the image file itself.

The watermark image should not scale the page.  I just tested it and it has no effect on the page layout.  Can you describe in more detail what you are seeing?

I am using DocBook XSLT version 1.69.1 with XEP version 4.6

I have existing templates that format my documents as I want them. However, when I apply the draft.watermark.image = “yes” attribute, the formatting of my pages change. I haven’t looked into this yet, however, I am assuming that the page is being scaled for the image in some way. I’m hoping someone else has seen this and can give me a fix.

Any input will be appreciated.

Jerry J
