docbook-apps message

Subject: Re: [docbook-apps] Formation of a new DocBook SubCommittee for ProfessionalPublishing


Isn't there a LegalXML markup standard already? If so, I could see 
allowing content from that namespace, but I don't know that we would 
want to define new DocBook tags specific to statutes and regulations?

When considering the scope of professional publishing, some items will 
need to remain generic to allow for educational, medical, legal, etc. 
publishing. It is possible, though, that additional modules be created 
to specifically support professional publishing in a particular industry 
segment.
