Subject: RE: [docbook-apps] PDF commenting control?
Kari, As I understand it, the ability to make a pdf commentable by Acrobat Reader users (as opposed to full Acrobat users) is a proprietary thing that Adobe controls. I.e. it's a feature they use to convince you to buy Acrobat Pro or another Adobe product rather than using a free alternative: http://www.oasis-open.org/archives/docbook-apps/200604/msg00056.html http://www.renderx.net/lists/xep-support/4108.html David > -----Original Message----- > From: Kari Bourgeois [mailto:karib@pyxistech.com] > Sent: Monday, April 02, 2007 9:17 AM > To: docbook-apps > Subject: [docbook-apps] PDF commenting control? > > Anyone tell me of a way to enable PDF commenting using the following: > > docbook 4.3/XEP/linux? > > thanks > Kari > > -- > Kari Bourgeois > Technical Writer > Pyxis Technology > 512-637-0519 > kari@pyxistech.com > > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: docbook-apps-unsubscribe@lists.oasis-open.org > For additional commands, e-mail: > docbook-apps-help@lists.oasis-open.org > >
