Subject: Re: [docbook-apps] Styling subtitle

Hi Frank,
In the DocBook XSL stylesheets, only title has its own attribute set. Beyond title,
an info element can contain lots of other elements, and those are handled by the
titlepage spec mechanism. That is described in my book:

http://www.sagehill.net/docbookxsl/HTMLTitlePage.html

In your specific case, you can accomplish what you want with the following addition to
a titlepage spec file before you compile it:

<t:titlepage t:element="section" t:wrapper="fo:block">
  <t:titlepage-content t:side="recto">
    <title
             font-family="{$title.fontset}"/>
    <subtitle
             color="blue"
              font-family="Palatino"/>
     ...

(I added color="blue" just to demonstrate that it works, but you probably don't want
that).
