The DocBook-XSL stylesheets are XSLT 1.0 stylesheets. Saxon 9 is an
XSLT 2.0 processor and is not supported. I was able to use the 1.72.2
ePub stylesheets to transform your document using both xsltproc and
Saxon 6, an XSLT 1.0 processor.
