There are a number of tradeoffs for the -NS versions for DocBook 5.0 documents, but I strongly recommend avoiding any DocBook-XSL-NS release if you're creating EPUB documents. The stylesheets have not been tested for the -NS release and suffer a number of bugs. I'm not aware of any reason to avoid -NS for other outputs. Keith
