DCMI Metadata Terms
-------------------
The SC agrees with the positive comments on enabling Dublin Core!
PRISM is, to our knowledge, only used for periodicals and may not apply to all publications. As such, we would recommend users apply PRISM to their own customization layer if needed. If greater demand for PRISM is demonstrated, we would consider adding to the default schema. The SC will continue to monitor demand for PRISM and VMF support.

XML DTD
-------
The SC plans to follow the DocBook TC model of providing additional schema formats for the specification. That said, RelaxNG is the normative, canonical format for the DocBook Publishers Schema. The additional formats (DTD, XSD) will be provided as a convenience as they are able to be produced, but will not be considered "canonical" formats. The SC also plans to more thoroughly document the RelaxNG schemas upon approval of the specification.

Informal simple section
-----------------------
The SC agrees that literary works often have a sectional structure between the levels of section and para, that may be untitled. Rather than introducing a new element, the SC has applied our charter allowing us to simplify DocBook content models, and allow only nested section elements. The equivalent method to support the requested feature is to use with an empty as described here: http://www.sagehill.net/docbookxsl/TOCcontrol.html#TitlesOutOfToc

Other topic of discussion:
Scott - Once the spec is approved, what do members feel about creating a TDG equivalent for the Publishers schema?
Dick - Might be easier to add a section in the new TDG for the additional elements from Publishers. Dick to approach Norm about adding info for: speaker, line, linegroup, poetry, dialogue, drama. The Dublin Core elements should be treated similar to SVG and MathML, with merely a pointer to those specifications for their documentation.

Scott to follow up with Mary on proper procedure for closing the comment and specification.

8. Review of Requests for Enhancement
None.
