Subject: Sample Assembly 4
I have tried to incorporate all the comments from Bob's notes and some of my own that I took during the discussion. I suspect I am imposing order in a number of places that it is not really necessary, but the schema works for what I have coded up. There are also probably places I could use standard DocBook schema definitions instead of making up my own, but I figured that could be done once we agree on what the schema should actually look like. As before, things came up while I was marking this up that led to questions I have included as comments in the file. I want to thank everyone for the comments during the discussion. The markup has become a bit more complex but much more precise and descriptive. The attached ZIP file includes the following: assembly-sample-4 assembly-sample-4.xml docbook-schema-rnc assembly.rnc I did not include the rest of the DocBook schema, and assembly.rnc depends on toc.rnc, index.rnc, and core.rnc. It may be possible to reduce the dependencies, since we not longer use the toc element for building a book, but the DocBook rnc files were all in the schema directory I was working with. I figured anyone who wanted to work with the schema would be able to provide the rest of the files.
