I like the supplement wrapper element.  It opens things up to provide things other than info if that becomes desirable.  I have a preference for supplement because I think that is what it is and, without becoming too much like the White Knight about it, I favor using as accurate a name as possible.

Given that we have "programlistingco" and "inlinemediaobject", I'm
not to fussed about the length. I'd support either:

  infomerge

or

  infosupplement

We could also use merge or supplement as a top-level element name:

  <merge>
    <info>...</info>
  </merge>

  <supplement>
    <info>...</info>
  </supplement>
