Subject: assembly stylesheet now available
Hi, I've created a new version of the assembly stylesheet kit and posted it to DocBook SourceForge. Look under Files, then Assembly, and select the zip file named assembly-xsl-2011-08-21.zip. The README in the zip file contains the initial doc, which I will be expanding over time. The kit includes a stylesheet to disassemble a DocBook 5 document into modular topic files and generate a matching assembly element. You can use that to easily convert an existing book into modular topic files. Then you can apply the assemble.xsl stylesheet to put it back together, effectively roundtripping the document. Or you can edit the assembly to try out various features and generate different output documents. I have included in the zip file the latest schema files (5.1b4), which include the assembly elements. I'm initially only informing the TC about this kit, so please give it a try. Once I get some feedback that it is working reasonably well I'll announce it to docbook-apps for more people to play with.
