Subject: DOCBOOK: Adding authorblurb and other things as extra front matterpages

Hi,

Well, I have DocBook with DSSSL and Norm's style sheets with my hacks doing
much of what I want.

With the help of Juan R. Migoya, and a bit of extra work, I have solid bars
below my headers and above my footers ...

I also have managed to add a blank page at the end of a chapter if it does
not end on a verso page.

I have also managed to add a separate title page for each chapter, with a
blank verso page for the title. The title page is forced to fall on a recto
page.

A couple of remaining problems I have are:

1. I want to place something on the book verso page, which I have done, but
I want it down the bottom. I tried an attribute of space-before: 60pi for
the make paragraph, but this seemed to have no effect. Can anyone comment?

2. I want to add a separate page with the author blurb.

I figured that I needed to modify the stuff in (element book ... in
dbdivis.dsl to add the extra page. This was a little more than I knew what
to do, and indeed, I screwed it up. I get a title, but do not get the blurb.

I tried:

Adding to the let* to pick up authorblurb with a select-elements from
the children of current-node
   then calling (with-mode authorblurb-mode (process-node-list authorblurb))
and defined authorblurb-node to process the element para and call
   process-children after making a paragraph.

However, I don't get any authorblurb. Any comments?

3. Try as I might, I just cannot get level 2, 3, ... headers offset to the
left. I have level 1 headers offset to the left, but not the rest.

Any hints?

Regards
