Subject: DOCBOOK: translating DocBook files
Has anyone out there sent DocBook XML files to translation houses? How have you handled indicating to them what text to translate and what not to translate? For example, if there was an element where sometimes you wanted the text contained to be translated and sometimes not? We were thinking of adding an attribute to indicate to the translation house that this element's text should not be translated. Other ideas? Any other translation tips welcome.
