Subject: DOCBOOK: HTML snippet in website XSLT processing
We are processing the web pages for all our SourceForge project (for example http://cdk.sourceforge.net) using Norm's website DTD and we would now like to include our project news into our front page automtically. SF site docs describe a method of exporting an HTML code snippet. Wrapping this into an HTML body and displaying is as a seperate page/menu entry should be no problem, but I would like it to be on the front page. So, somehow I need to convince the XSLT stylesheets or the xml sources to include which is then supposed to become part of an output html file. So, I would need a cron job to export the news from the project page every day, or so, and the a cron job which xslt processes the website after that. Is there a way to include this HTML snippet into the website processing? I hope what I wrote is not too confusing and it becomes clear what I want :-) Any hint is greatly appreciated.
