DOCBOOK: Re: Markup for exercises

Let's explore the design space a little bit...

So far, we have requests for markup for exercises. Is other markup required,
or is DocBook perfect except that it lacks and <exercise> element?

What are the functional requirements for the exercise element? How do
you want to be able to style it?
