Subject: FO XSL formatting questions
Hello, My colleague and I are modifying the DocBook XSL stylesheets (v1.18, released May 2003) for FO to ensure our documents conform to company formatting standards. I'm having trouble figuring out how to adjust the following: - The book title should not be repeated above legal notice - The TOC should start at i - The header and footer text should be left/right aligned - The header text should be the book title on the left and chapter titles on the right Can anyone point me to the stylesheets or the attributes/ parameters that I need to modify to achieve these changes? One other issue that is less of an issue, but equally annoying, is that long tables sometimes do not start in the middle of a page. Instead, they start at the top of the next page, leaving a huge gap between the table title and the table itself. Is there a "keep with next" flag somewhere in the stylesheets that controls this behavior? I've done as much as I can to figure these things out on my own. However, I'm new to DocBook/XSL and acknowledge that I may be missing some really obvious solutions. You're help is greatly appreciated. Rowena
