Without using tools that introduce spurious indentation. In blocks, like paragraphs, multiple spaces between words are unlikely to matter (HTML and FO collapse them). If you want to use leading and trailing spaces, make sure you setup your down-stream process to collapse them. Puttin multiple spaces in an inline is probably a bad idea.
