Thank you, Jirka, I have read TDG more carefully now and I see what you mean. In fact, element names are not so intuitive in this case. I'll use <application> for a product (marketing) name of an electronic chip, such as MH7400. TDG shows "The name of a software program" as the short description, which was misleading me a bit.
