Subject: Re: [docbook] WYZIWYG editor for DocBook
Rich, I've never used Lyx or Latex, but the free "Standard" edition of XMLmind XML Editor (XXE) supports WYSIWYG editing of DocBook documents. For transformation to deliverable formats, you're stuck with the open-source tools that are out there (and their inherent limitations), but as a standalone DocBook authoring environment XXE is fantastic. Hope this helps! Andrew Becraft Senior Technical Writer Singlestep Technologies Connect. Simplify.
