Subject: DocBookers Dinner (Boston, Wednesday, 6 Dec 2006)
Coming to Boston for XML 2006? Interested in DocBook? Eat? Let's have dinner! Everyone's invited. Concrete plans always work better than vague ones, so I propose that we meet in the Sheraton Boston[1] hotel lobby[2] at 7:30p on Wednesday evening, departing for dinner promptly at 8:00p. There must be restaurants close by. If not, the East Coast Grill is one of my favorite spots and can't be more than five or ten minutes by cab. If you look at the program, you'll see that there are events every evening. There's nothing to be done about that. If you're not free for dinner, I'll be wandering around every day. If you're interested in dinner on Wednesday evening, post a comment at http://norman.walsh.name/2006/11/12/docbookDinner Restaurant suggestions most welcome. Be seeing you, norm [1] http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&GridE=-71.08522&GridN=42.34693&lon=-71.08522&lat=42.34693&place=DALTON%20ST%2C%2002115%2C%20BOSTON&db=US&scale=5000&search_result=DALTON%20ST%2C%2002115%2C%20BOSTON&lang=&db=US&keepicon=true [2] http://www.starwoodhotels.com/sheraton/search/hotel_detail.html?propertyID=430&back=-1 -- Norman Walsh <ndw@nwalsh.com> | The perfect man has no method; or http://www.oasis-open.org/docbook/ | rather the best of methods, which Chair, DocBook Technical Committee | is the method of no-method.-- | Shih-T'ao
