Ok, I'll think about using textobject instead. I overlooked it. Now that I see the description of textobject (http://www.docbook.org/tdg5/en/html/textobject.html), it looks like it was originally intended to be used only with mediaobject: A textobject is a wrapper containing a textual description of a media object and its associated meta-information. A textobject is only allowed in mediaobject as a fallback... But (now?) it's also used with CALS tables, informaltable, programlisting, and several other elements. Perhaps the Description should be updated? -- Mike Maxwell maxwell@umiacs.umd.edu "My definition of an interesting universe is one that has the capacity to study itself." --Stephen Eastmond
