Subject: Re: [docbook] Strange HTML output...

Hi,
Hmm, is this an appendix inside an article? If so, that would explain the difference between your results and mine. The generated text differs in those two cases:

<l:context name="title-numbered">
 <l:template name="appendix" text="Appendix %n. %t"/>
 <l:template name="article/appendix" text="%n. %t"/>
 ...

You will need to customize the gentext for "article/appendix" to change that. See this reference for details:

http://www.sagehill.net/docbookxsl/CustomGentext.html

BTW, in the future, please address stylesheet issues to the docbook-apps mailing list. The docbook list is for discussions of schemas.

I always get

A. My Appendix

regardless whether or not I added the appendix.autolabel param to my
customization layer.

I also tried to user the standard docbook stylesheets... but the result
is exactly the same.

Hi,
The default output for DocBook XSL for appendix is:

    Appendix A. My Appendix

and in the table of contents it shows:

    A.  My Appendix

If you are getting "A. My appendix" in the appendix itself, then your customization
layer is doing that.
