Thanks, removing the "label" did the trick in terms of removing
the message.

I am glad I asked :)

Interestingly, though the link is generated and can be followed to the
document, the anchor in the target document does not seem to be ...
I will have to look into whether the xml:id of the <glossentry/> is
being used or not (since this mechanism works fine to link to other
things like <table/> and <section/>.

the olink includes "label".  That's used to generate the displayed
number of an element, but glossary entries are not numbered, so the
stylesheets do not have templates in the gentext system for it.  The
"docname" and "quotedtitle" parts work.
