Subject: RE: [docbook] docbook to RSS

Ari,

Here you go.

https://github.com/gazillabyte/changelog.git

You will need to compile/link it against a modern version of libdb.

The program can be run in several modes:

1. Create an empty config file
2. Process a config file that allows you to assign a change to multiple
programs if the change is in a library.
3. Create a report.
4. Create an RSS feed as a CGI module.
5. Create docbook output for inclusion.

I wrote this one weekend after wasting way too much time looking for a
commercial package and I have added on as needed so there is no
documentation. If you can't read the source code let me know and when I
get some time I'll put something in the readme.

Here is an example of the RSS feed URL

http://www.tapetrack.com/cgi/changelog.cgi and
http://www.tapetrack.com/cgi/changelog.cgi?module=TMSS10Inventory

Great, thanks. That would be interesting. If it can be made public, please
throw it up on github or similar otherwise please email me.

Although I don't want a cgi, I'd be interested in the structure you
settled on.

Ari
