[18:03] Stefan Hagen: 7. Core 2.0 issues discussion
7.1 Maintenance tasks
[18:03] Stefan Hagen: None
[18:03] Stefan Hagen: 7.2 Topology of schemas - structure and relation
[18:03] Stefan Hagen: Nothing new
[18:03] Stefan Hagen: 7.3 Editorial topics
[18:04] Stefan Hagen: AK received feedback on many minor points he could address easily as editorial changes
[18:06] Stefan Hagen: AK also mentions, that ETSI now seems to have changed AugmentedSignature (instead of UpdatedSignature) and Andreas thinks it should be considered an easy and welcome fx to the DSS core to follow here and get rid of the complex and unintuitive UpdatedSignature concept
[18:06] Stefan Hagen: All agree
[18:07] Stefan Hagen: AK: Another ETSI group came across our ServicePolicy document they introduced the term SignaturePolicy and suggest we could add it as addition policy - but Andreas thinks this is possibly a bloat of the profile that has an "overspecification" smell
[18:08] Stefan Hagen: EJvN: Is also wondering what could that mean and what could be specified from the client and independent from the service
[18:09] Stefan Hagen: EJvN: Suggests to ask for more details and esp. examples to help us decide - for now given the current level of detail all think this is not to be added
[18:09] Stefan Hagen: AK: will ask
[18:10] Stefan Hagen: AK: In addition SignatureActivationData has been asked for an additional content field from the same person - for now Andreas is undecided
[18:11] Stefan Hagen: Ernst Jan and Stefan think, the less structure and fileds the better (when passing through) so a hash should be nice in base64
[18:12] Stefan Hagen: EJvN: Also here suggests Andreas maybe asks the originator of the request for additional details
[18:14] Stefan Hagen: AK: Last topic from Hendrik asking for details on signature algorithm (RSA or ECC or ...) and he suggests to expand the SignatureAlgorithm element to cater for the maximum number of parameters needed for a specific algorithm
[18:16] Stefan Hagen: All are discussing. The members of the TC are not yet sure what is a good structuring (e.g.. prefixes etc.) many implementers seem currently to struggle with specific parameters in a generic manner (with the algorithm as a variable).
[18:18] Stefan Hagen: All perceive this as more like a too specific remote interface to OpenSSL full details but this is not our view on the DSS interface, which should not specify on such a fine grained level every possible API doing the actual signing.
[18:20] Stefan Hagen: 7.4 Possible motion to progress core to CSD01 and request public review
[18:20] Stefan Hagen: Skipped
[18:21] Stefan Hagen: 8. Profiles
[18:21] Stefan Hagen: EJvN: Status of review comments from him to Detlef is pending
[18:22] Stefan Hagen: AK: Did upload several versions of the ADES profile (now including the port for ASIC containers)
[18:22] Stefan Hagen: 9.. Next meeting
Suggested to meet again on 2018-MAY-28 (usual bi-weekly schedule)
[18:22] Stefan Hagen: All agree
[18:22] Stefan Hagen: 10. AOB
[18:23] Stefan Hagen: All are confident about the current change speed and stabilisation of COre
[18:26] Stefan Hagen: TAB will discuss the OASIS account at SwaggerHub suggestion from Andreas (and Ralf and Stefan) as seconded b Trey Darle in the next TAB meeting in two weeks approx.
[18:26] Stefan Hagen: Meeting adjourned
