I suppose if the signer chooses to use XSLT transforms, the validating party doesn't have much choice. Probably a DSS protocol shouldn't mandate one way or the other. Probably we will need an "Unknown/Unsupported Transform" error code for when a DSS verification service can't verify a signature because of this? Trevor
